The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by an Order under the hands and Seals of Ja. Clitherow< no role >
and John Awstick< no role > two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex (one of the Quorum) bearing Date
the 13th. Day of January last Samuel Stedman< no role > This name instance is in set 314. was
removed from the Parish of Littleton in the County of
Middlesex to the sd. Parish of St. Clement Danes is the
Place of his last legal Settlement whereby your
Petitioners conceive themselves to be agrieved and
against the said Order do appeal

Your Petrs. therefore humbly pray that a
short Day may be appointed this present
Session to hear and Determine the matter
touching the said Appeal
