I came to Mrs. Nicholls house one ye 5 day of November 1739 and Contined
till ye: Munday folling with her it happned to be thaire washing week
Mrs. N: was never out of my Company one hover from ye time of my comeing
till my going away but when She went to bed I was with her ye first in ye
Morring and last at Night Excepting her Husband I will take my Oath
that Mrs: Nicholls never in no Conbination nor Conspricing against any
Person that week I sollownly declare She never was out of my Company
the Washing was beguns befor I came and the cloves was not all got out of
the way till ye Satterday Night we never was a bread but one day ye
that week it was one the friday I never was out of her Company all that
day it was about Eight o' Clock at Night when we came home to Supper to
ye best of my knowledge what we had that Night was low fowles Rosted
