At the General Session of the peace of our Sovereign Lord the-
King holden for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in St. John
Street in the County aforesaid by adjornment of Friday the
twelfth day of September in the ninth yeare of the reign of
our sovereign Lord George the second King of Great Britain
Frances & Ireland Defender of the Faith before John Martin< no role >
Anthony Chamberlain< no role > Alexander Garrett< no role > Samuel Taken< no role > Esqrs . &
other their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned
to keep the peace in the County aforesaid and also to heare &
determine divers felovys trespasses & other misdeeds committed
in the same County,

Whereas David Wheatly exhibited his humble petition Unto-
this Court at this present General Session of the peace begun & holden
for this County of Middx on Monday the twenty fifth day of August
last (Which Session was from themes continued by several adjornments
Untill this twelfth day of September instant) setting forth
That william Cook< no role > of the parish of Maisworth in the County
of Bucks became bound by Indenture of apprentice hood-
bearing date the sixth day of February in the yeare one
thousand seven hundred and thirty two to the Petr. who dwell
in the parish of St. George the Martyr in the County of Middx
Baker for the terme of seven yeares to learn his Art, And
that the said William Cook< no role > the Petrs. Apprentice hath
frequently absented himselfe from the Petrs. Service without
the Petrs. leave, And that on his returning home he cuases the
Petr. and hath threatued to cleave down the Petr. with a
pareing Shovel, And that when the Petr. hath sent him-
out with a basket of bread he hath squandred away part
of the money, and refused to account with the Petr. for the
same, And that upon the Petrs. reproveing him for such base-
Usage & behaviour he dams the Petr. and calls him Black-
GeorgGuard Rogne and dares the Petr. to strike him,
And that the said Cook hath in a very impudent manner
in the absence of the Petr. stript himself naked in the shop
before the Petrs. wife, And that the petrs. said Apprentice is
