At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our
sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of
middx at Hicks hall in st.John street in the County
aforesaid on monday in the week next after the
Feast of the Epiphany (to witt) the fourteenth day
of January in the seventh yeare of the reign of
our sovereign Lord George the second King of
Great Britain France & Freland Defender of the
Faith before william Cowper< no role > Thomas Dummer< no role >
John martin< no role > Alexander Garrett< no role > Esqe & other
their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King
assigned to keep the peace in the County aforesaid
and also to heare & determine divers felonys
trespasses & other evil deeds committed in the
same County,

whereas the Church wardens & overseer of the poor
of the hamlet of milend old Town in this County
have exhibited their humble petiton ?& appeale
unto this Court setting forth That by an Order dated
the eleventh day of January instant under the hands
& seales of Andrew osborne< no role > & Richard Farmer< no role > Esqe
two of his maties Justices of the peace for the said
County (one being of the quorum) mary mullet< no role >
and her son named John< no role > aged about two yeares
were removed out of the parish of st. mary
whitechappel in this County to the said hamlet
of milend old Town as the place of their last
legal settlement, By which Order the pete think
themselves aggrieved and appeale against the
same to this Court, whereupon at the request of
the pete It is Ordered by this Court that the Benefit
of the said appeale be saved unto them, and that
the hearing & determining thereof be and the
same is hereby adjorned untill the next General
