ofSt Leonard Shoreditch in the said County of Middlesex ;
and to the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of theParish
ofSt Georges in the East in theSaid County
and to every of them, and to all others, whom these
may concern.

WHEREAS it appeareth unto us, two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the said County of Middlesex (whereof one is of
the Quorum) by the Complaint of the Churchwarden and Over-
seers of the Poor of theParishofSt Leonard Shoreditch in the said
County, thatMartha Jackson< no role > Singlewoman is
lately come, and intruded into the saidParishofSt. Leonard
Shoreditch endeavouring to gain a Settlement there contrary to Law
andis likely tobecome a great Charge to the saidParish
which we adjudge to be true; and whereas,Upon Examinacon
On Oath
it appears unto us, That the saidMartha Jackson< no role > was
last legally settled in the saidParish
ofSt. Georges in the East in the County of Middx,and thatshe
has notsince gained any legal Settlement
elsewhere: Therefore, We the said Justices, upon the Proof aforesaid, and
other Circumstances, do adjudge and deem the Place of the last legal Settle-
ment of the saidMartha Jackson< no role >
to be in the saidParishofSt. Georges in the East
and whither by Lawsheought to be sent.

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, strictly to Charge and
Command you the said Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor
of the saidParish of St. Leonard Shoreditch or either of you,
forthwith to remove and convey the saidMartha Jackson< no role >
from and out of your saidParishofSt. Leonard Shoreditch in and
to the saidParishofSt. George's in the East
and deliverher(together with this Precept) to the Churchwarden and
Overseers of the Poor there, or some, or one of them, who are hereby re-
quired to receive and provide forheraccording to Law.
