WHEREAS Complaint hath been made by you, the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
ofSt James Westminster.unto us whose Hands and Seals are
hereunto set, Two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace (Quorum
unus) for the County aforesaid, thatAnn Jennings< no role > Widow of
John Jennings< no role > and her Twins David < no role > and Thomas < no role >
aged about three Quarters of a Year are
lately intrudedand Comeinto your said Parish of
St. James there to inhabit asParishioners contrary to
the Laws relating to the Settlement of the Poor, andarethere likely
to become Chargeable, if not timely prevented. And whereas up-
on due Examination and Enquiry made into the Premissesas also
on the oath of the said Ann Jennings< no role > it appears
unto us, and we accordingly Adjudge, That the saidAnn Jennings< no role >
and Twins are
likely to become chargeable unto the said Parish ofSt James Westmr
and that the last Legal Place of Settlement of the said
Ann Jennings< no role > & Twinswas in the said Parish ofSt. Margaretts Westmr .
in the County of Middx.

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name to Order and
Require you the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish ofSt James Westmr.aforesaid, That you, or some
of you do forthwith remove and convey the saidAnn Jennings< no role > and
Twinsfrom your said Parish ofSt. James
to the said Parish ofSt Margaretts Westmr .andthemdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof, Whereby they are likewise requir'd in his Majesties
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith
to receive the saidAnn Jennings< no role > and Twins
into their saidParish and Careand provide forthem
as their own Parishioners. Given under our Hands and Seals, the
