I have considered of this order of the Qu: Sessions to a
Committee in order to the Settling the prices of Land Carriages
according to the act of part. of ye 3 & 4 of W:em: and cannot
Butt think Butt wee shall have a difficult task in it; how [..]
that wee may at least be able to report something of it,
to them, I think it proper you should in the first Place
turn over the Journals of the Court and to inform us what
you find has bin [..] formerly done in this affais
if ever any thing at, all and if at any tyme any Comittee has
bin appointed in order to the Settling of it, I would desire likewise
you would find out the letter written by the Corporacon of the
Bath to Mr. , as you as you will find by this my letter
in closed to himyou& will Soe was the reason of this affaire
being first lard before the Bench; which I send to you that
you night Know the Purport of it and after read it, doeasd
it Will my humble service deliver it to the Serjant, and re=
-turn me the answere he is pleasd to make; which when
is done that the Sessions order may not at least be wholy
neglected; it will by a notice of [..] dayes at least appoint a meeting wth
thereas of genty of the Comitte, where I hope Some of the Number
wth please to come to consider, what is most proper to be
reported to the next Sessions, I am

The Sooner I have return of these 2
letters from [..] will mencon ye tyme I think proper to meet
