To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. George in the County of Middlx And to the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Church ford in the
County of Essex

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us two of His
Maties Justices of the Peace for the Said County of Middx (Quor unus)
by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St.
George abovesaid That John Shadbolt< no role > with his two Children
(vizt.) John < no role > Aged [..] and Mary Shadbolt< no role > aged [..]
lately come into the Said Parish endeavouring to Settle [..]
and Said two Children there contrary to Law, And it appear [..]
unto us that his Late wife Mary< no role > is dead, and that he is Sickly
and in mean Circumstances therefore wee Adjudge him and his Said two
Children likely to become chargeable to the Said Parish And
whereas it further appearreth unto us the Said Justices of the
Peace upon the Examinacon of the Said John Shadbolt< no role > Senior
taken upon his Oath that he was last Legally Settled in the Parish
of Church ford in the County of Essex Which wee the Said Justices
of the Peace Do find and Adjudge to be true and where he and his
Said two Children are by Law to be Sent

These are therefore in his Maties Name to will
and require you upon Sight hereof to convey and Pess the
Said John Shadbolt< no role > and his Said two Children from your
Said Parish of St. George to the Parish of Chinkford
abovesaid and deliver them to the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor there or to Some or one of them who are hereby
required to provide for them According to Law Given under
our hands and Seals this 26th day of Church Anno dom 1731
