The Humble Petition of
Appeal of the Church wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St.
Martin in the Fields in the County of
Middx

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant under
the Hands and Seales of John Milner< no role > and R:
Gifford Esqrs Two of his Majesties Justices of the
Peace for the sd. County of Middx (Quor unus)
bearing date the Second Day of October Instant
Sarah Slade< no role > wife of William Slade< no role > and
their Child James< no role > aged about Three yeares were
removed from the Parish of St. Giles in the fields
in the sd. County of Middx: to the said Parish
of St. Martin in the Fields as the Place of their
last legall Settlemt. whereby your Petitioners
Conceive themselves to be Agrieved

Therefore they humbly appeal to
your Worships against the
Judgmt. of the Sd. Two Justices, and
Pray your Worships will be
pleases to Appoint some day in
this present Sessions to hear and
Determine the Matter touching
the said Appeal
