Paris ofSt. James Westminister in the County of
Middlesex ; and to the Church- wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish ofSt. Georges Hansover Square
in the County ofMiddx. & to each & every of them

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made by you, the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
ofSt. James Westminister unto us Whose Hands and Seals are
hereunto set, Two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace (Quorum
unus) for the County aforesaid, thatHenry Reives< no role > aged about
48 Yrs & Elizabeth< no role > his Wife aged about 27 Yrs William< no role > his
his Son aged about 5 Yrs are
lately intrudedand comeinto your said Parish of
St. James there to inhabit asParishioners contrary to
the Laws relating to the settlement of the Poor, andarethere likely
to become Chargeable, if not timely prevented. And whereas up-
on due Examination and Enquiry made into the Premissesas also
upon Oath of the said Henry Reeves< no role > it appears
unto us, and we accordingly Adjudge, That the saidHenry Reeves< no role >
Wife & Child are
likely to become chargeable unto the said Parish ofSt. James
Westminister and that the last legal Settlement of the said
Henry Reeves< no role > was in the said Parish ofSt. Georges Hanover
Square

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name to Order and
Require you the said Church- Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish ofSt. James aforesaid, That you, or some
of you do forthwith remove and convey the saidHenry Reeves< no role > , Eliza< no role > , his
Wife & Childfrom your said Parish ofSt. James
to the said Parish ofSt. George Hanovers Square andthemdeliver
to the Church- Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
One of them, together with this our Warrent, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof, whereby they are likewise requir'd in his Majesties
Name, and by Virtue of the Statues in such Case made, forthwith
to receive the saidHenry Reeves< no role > : Eliza< no role > his Wife & Child
into their saidParish & Careand Provide for them
as their own Parishioners. Given under our Hands and Seals, the
2ndDay ofSeptembirAnno RegnsDom. Mr. Geogy
