Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Liberty [..] ofNorton folgate
in the said Countyunto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(Quorum unus) for theCountyaforesaid, That
Richard Denton< no role > , an aged Poor Man hath
lately intrudedhimselfinto your said [..] Libertyof
Norton folgate
there to inhabit asaParishioner contrary to the Laws relat-
ing to the Settlement of the Poor, andisthere like to be-
come chargeable, if not timely prevented: And Whereas, upon
due Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises,taken before
us upon Oath
it appears unto us and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Richard Denton< no role > is
likely to become chargeable unto the saidParishLibertyofNorton folgate
and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the saidRichard Denton< no role >
is in the said Parish of
Low Layton in the County aforesaid
These are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the [..] Libertyof
Norton folgate in the Countyaforesaid, that you
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the saidRichard
Denton

from your said [..] LibertyofNorton folgate
to the said Parish ofLow Layton
andhim todeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required, in His Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the saidRichard Denton< no role >
in to their saidParishand provide forhim
as their own Parishoner Owen under our Hands and Seals, the
Twenty SeaventhDay ofAugustAnno ReguiDom Georgy
[..] Secundu [..] nunc Magnae Britanniae, Etc.Qugrtus
