To the Churchwarden & overseers of the poor of the
Hamlett of Bethnall Green in the County of Middlesex
And to the Churchwarden and Overseers of the poor
of the Hamlett of Ratcliff in the said County And so
every of them

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us, two of his Majties:
Justices, of the peace for the County of Middlesex (Quor unus) by
you the Churchwarden and Overseers of the poor of the Hamlett
of Bethnall Green in the said County, that Ann Mersing< no role > Widdo :
and Relict of John Mersing< no role > deceased and her four Children (vizt)
Ann Mersing< no role > aged about Eleven years Elizabeth Mersing< no role > aged
about Eight years, Mary Mersing< no role > aged about five years and
Abigail Mersing< no role > aged about three years have intruded themselves
into your Said Hamlett not having any legall Settlement there
and are now likely to be Chargable thereunto, And Whereas
upon Examinacon touchig the premisses taken before us
upon Oath we the said Justices do Adjudge the Same To be
true, and do also Adjudge that the Hamlett of Ratcliff in
the said County of Middlesex is the place of the last legall
Settlement of the said John Mersing< no role > and Ann Mersing< no role > [..]

These are therefore in his Majties: Name to will
and require you the Churchwarden and Overseers of the poor
of the said Hamlett of Bethnall Green forthwith to remove
and Convey the said Ann Mersing< no role > Widdo : and Ann Mersing< no role >
Elizabeth Mersing< no role > Mary Mersing< no role > and Abigail Mersing< no role >
from out of your said Hamlett unto the said Hamlett of
Ratcliff and them to deliver unto the Church Warden and
Overseers of the poor there, Some or one of them who are hereby
required to receive & provide for them according to Law. Given
under our hands & Seals the 11th day of November Anno Dom [..]
