The humble Petition of David
Harris< no role > of Hoxton in the
Parish of St Leonard Shoreditch
in the said County:

Sheweth

That at Christmas last your Petitioner was
chosen one of the Surveyours of the High
ways of the said Parish for the Year
Ensuing

That your Petitr is Aged Seventy Years
and much Afflicted with the Gout and
by reason of a Fall he sometime agoe
received from a horse Is rendred soe very
Infirme that he is not able to walke
nor is he capable of Serving the said
Office

Your Petitr: therefore humbly
prays he may be discharged from
serving the said Office and another
fitt person chose in his room and
stead

And yor: petr Shall Ever pray Etc
