their Report in writing beareing date the first day
of November one thousand seven hundred & twenty
two unto the Court of Generall Quarter Sessions
of the peace holden for this County by adjornmt
Monday the third day of December now last past
then next
ensueing
And thereby settforth that severall
irregular practices had been made use off in relacon
to the assessing & collecting of Trophy money in this
County & in the applicacon of the same, And
upon the whole matter came to the following
Resolucons (Vizt.)

That it was the opinion of the said Committee That
the assessing more than the legall sume upon any
Parish on any pretence whatsoever was in illegall
oppression highly tending to discourage his Maties
faithfull subjects from contributing chearfully
towards those supplys which the necessitys
the state may require to be laid upon them

That the not casting up the assessmts. therein menconed
has been a great neglect on the part of the dept [..]
Lievtents & an encouragemt. to the said oppression

That the distribucon of the Trophy money to the Captian [..]
to their owne use is a misapplicacon thereof not
warranted by any Law in being
