To the Church wardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish
of St. James Clerkenwell in the County of Middlx and to the
Church wardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of
St Marg White Chapple in the said County and to every of
them And to all others whom these may concern

Where as it appeareth unto us two of his Maties Justices. of the peace
for the Said County of Middlx (Quoram anns) by the complaint of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. James
Clerkenwell in the Said County That Abraham Storer< no role > is lately come
and intruded into the Said Parish of St. James Clerkenwell
(endeavouring to gain a Settlement there contrary to Law And is
likely to become chargeable to the Said parish of St. James Clerkenwell
(if not Speedily prevented) And Where as upon the Examinacon of
the Said Abraham Storer taken upon Oath it appears unto us that
the Said Abraham Storer was last legally Setled in the parish of St
Mary White Chapple in the Said County And that he hath not
Since obtained any legall Settlement else where Wee therefore the
Said Justices upon the proof afore said and other circumstances Do
Adjudge and deem the place of the last legall Setlement of the Said
Abraham Storer to be [..] in the Said parish of St. Mary White Chapple
in the County of Middlx aforesaid and whither by Law he ought
to be Sent

These are therefore in his Maties Name Strictly
to charge and comand you the Church wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Said parish of St. James Clerkenwell or Some or one
of you forth with upon Sight here of to remove and convey the
Said Abraham Storer< no role > from and out of the Said Parish of St.
James Clerkenwell [..] in and to the Said parish of St. Ma [..]
White Chapple and deliver him (together with this precept) to the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor there or to Some or
one of them who are hereby required to receive and provide
for him According to Law Here of faile not at your Perills
Given under our hands and Seales this Seventeenth day of
Aprill in the third Year of the Reigne of our Sovereign Lord
George by the Grace of God of Great Britain Frame and
Ireland King Defander of the faith Etc. Anno P Dad 1717 .
