Where as it appears unto us Two of his Majts. Justices
of the peace for the said County of Middx (Quor un) by the
Complaint of your the sd. Church Wardens and Oversees
of the poor of the said Parish of St. Anne That Mary
Pitt< no role > an Infant aged about Eight years the Daughter of
Thomas Pitt< no role > and Mary < no role > his wife was lately brought
into the said parish of St. Anne and lest there in Which
said Infant in likely to become Chargeable to the said
parish of st. Anne And upon Examinacon of Elizabeth
Bly< no role > taken upon her Oath it further appears tons
That the legall Settlement of the said Mary Pitt< no role > the said
Instant is in the parish of St. Martins in the fields
in the said County And upon StrictEnquiryExaminacon wee
cannot find that the sd. Infant hath any legall
Settlemt.whelse where therefore wee adjudge the last
legall Settlement of the said Mary Pitt the said Infant
to be in the parish of St. Martin in the fields in the said
County.
