Whereas Richard woodward< no role > and J: Cranford Esqrs. two of
her Maties. Justices of the peace for the County of Middx
(Quor unus) inhabiting & resideing next unto the limits
where the Parish Church of the Parish of Fulham in the
Same County is did by an Order Under their hands and
Seales bearing date the second day of December last
adjudge Samuel Haffie< no role > of the abovesaid parish of Fulham
Linnen Draper to be the reputed Father of a female
Bastard Child (not then baptized) begotten on the body of
Timian Marshall< no role > Singlewoman and the two & twentieth
day of November then last past borne in the sd. parish
of Fulham and which was become chargeable to the Same
parish, And did Order tha the the Sd. Samuel Haffie should
imediately on Sight of the sd Order or of a true coppy
thereof to him delivered pay or cause to be paid Unto the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the sd Parish
of Fulham (on Fulham Side) or unto Some or one of them
the sume of fourty shillings being at the rate of ten
Shillings P week for the first four weeks next after the
delivery of the sd Timian Marshall of her sd female
bastard child for & towards the charges of her lyeing in
nurseing & attendance, and alsoe five Shillings for
her Midwife, And did further Order that the sd Samuel
Haffie Should pay or cause to be paid into the hands of
the sd Churchwarden & Overseers or their Successors
for the time being or Unto Some or one of them towards
the maintenance of the sd female bastard child weekly &
every week the sume of one Shilling & Six pence soe long
as the sd female bastard child should continue chargeable to
