WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, whole Hands and
Seals are hereunto set, Two of Her Majesties Justices of the
Peace of thesayd County of Middx
(Quorum unus) by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
ParishofSt. Paul Shadwellin the said County, that
Hester Carrill< no role > Wife of John Carrill < no role > and her Son John
Carrill
< no role > aged two years are.
lately come into the saidParishendeavouring to settle
themselvesthere, without giving Notice in Writing to the said
Church-Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor, or any one of them of the House
ofthereabode in the saidParishaccording to
the Statute in that Case made and provided: And that it also appears unto
us by the Complaint of the said Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the saidParishofSt. Paul Shadwell thatthey
likely to become chargeable to the saidParishAnd whereas it ap-
peareth unto Us the said Justices, upon the Oath ofthe said Mary Feilds< no role >

last legally settled in theHamblettofRate [..]
in the parish of Stepney in the sayd County in which Hamblett
he was borne and has gained noe other legall settlement Since
Therefore were doe adjudge the last legall settlement of the sayd
John Carrill the younger to be in the sayd Hamblett of Ratchill
These are therefore in Her Majesties Name Straitly to Charge and Com-
mand you, and every of you, forthwith, upon sight hereof, to remove and
convey the saidJohn Carrill the younger out of the sayd
parish of St. Pawl Shadwell into the saydparishHamblett
of Ratiliffe in the sayd County
and deliverhimunto the Church-Wardens, and Overseers of the
Poor there, who are unto required to provide forhim
according to Law: Hereof fail not at your Perils, Given under our Hands
and Seals, thefourteenthday ofMay Anno Din 1711

To the Charch-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the parish of St. Paul Shadwellin the
said County, and to all Constables, Headbo-
roughs, and other Officers and Ministers, whom
these may concern, and also to the Church-
Wardens, and Overseers of the Poor ofthe Hamblett
of Ratiliffe in the Parish of Stepney in
the sayd County
