This Examt. saith that on Saturday the Eighth day of October 1709
he this Examt. having sett down his Chair at his own Door in
King street
in ye Parish of St. James Westmr
in the County of Middx
and
take it into his sd. house as usual that Evening, and that on Sunday
morning following going to use his Chair he this Examt. Missed a
a red flowered velvet Cushion or Seat and that one Elizabeth Cross< no role >
being Apprehend for stealing several Cushions or Seats Confessed that
that the Cart Cushion or Seat that she had stolen was out of a Chair
Standing at a Door in Kingstreet St. James and that upon the sd.
Crossr. having made this Confession, one John Elcocke< no role >

sent word to this Examt. who was then in Bed: that thesd. Cross had
owned the Stealing of but this Examtt. Cushion or Seat and that upon
this Examts. Coming to the sd. Cross she went along wth. this Examt. to
