Upon heareing of the appeale of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the poor of the parish of St. Bridget als Brides London against
an Order under the hands & seales of Joseph short< no role > & Richard
Browne
< no role > Esqrs . two of her Maties. Justices of the peace for the County
of Middx (Quor unus) beareing date the fourth day of September
last whereby Francis Plenty< no role > a child about eight yeares old
(the son of Richard Plenty< no role > & Mary< no role > his wife ) who was become
chargeable to the parish of St. Sepulcher in the sd County was
conveyed from the sd parish of St Sepulcher to the said parish of St. Bridget als Brides London
as the place of the last legall settlemt. of the said child, And upon
hearing of what was insisted on by Councell for both the sd. parishes
It appeared to this Court that the sd Francis Plenty< no role > had noe legall
settlemt. in the sd parish of St. Bridget als Brides London , whereupon
this Court doth allow of the sd appeale, and doth vacate &
discharge the sd Order of the sd. [..] two Justices of the peace.
