Whereas it appeareth unto Us, Two of her Maties: Justices of ye Peace for
ye County of Middx (Quor un) upon ye Complt: of ye Church Wardens &

And, or paying to ye Poor, or any Parish Duty's or Leby's there, or
giving Such Notice to ye Officers of their sd Parish, or to any of them
as by Lane is required And whereas it also appeareth unto Us, That
ye sd Mary Bartholomew being very poor, & not having any thing
wherewth: to maintain herself & her sd Children, Shoe & they will
unavoidably become A great Charge to ye sd parish of St. Giles wthout
Cripplegate if not timely prvented And whereas, it further

Glass: house Yard in ye Parish of St. Buttolph Aldersgate in the sd
County of Midds Carpenter , That abt: Seventeen years ago ye sd William
Bartholomew
< no role > came to dwell wth Isaac Bartholomew< no role > in Westmorland

aforesd: And now upon carefull & diligent Exaiacon wee cannot finde
that either ye sd William Bartholomew< no role > in his life time, or ye sd Mary
