Resolved that this Court deeply impressed by the Wisdom of
this measure adopt the Regulations stated in the above engagement and
resolve strictly to adhere to them, earnestly recommending the same to
the serious consideration and practice of all Masters of Families and
other Inhabitants of this County.
Resolved that the thanks of this Court be transmitted by
the Chairman to His Grace The Duke of Portland
for his Communication
of the above Engagement of the Members of his Majestys Privy Council
Resolved that these Resolutions be Printed and sent to the
Magistrates of this County with a request that they make them as
Publick as possible in their respective Divisions and that they be also
advertized in the Public Papers.

Mr Rogers laid before the Court the following Report relative to
Chertsey Bridge
Vizt.
"Survey of Chertsey Bridge
"The late Floods has wash'd away the Gravel under the Arch next,
"the Abutment at the East end of the said Bridge, so that the Piling &
"Planting under the said Abutment is expos'd Fourteen Inches above low
"Water
, the Gravell within the Campshutting on the North side of the said
"Abutment is also wash'd away about 4 Feet on an Average exposing
"the Piles & Land Tyes within the same.
"A Campshutting is wanted on the South side of the said
"Abutment.
