June 1795.

"I shou'd recommend that Chalk of large Sizes be sunk within the
"Campshutting and under the said Arch above the level of the said
"Planking Piles & Tyes & that under the said Arch be pav'd with strong
"Purbeck Paving< no role > . Suppose it may amount to £350 to perform the
"Work in manner aforesaid.

"Thos. Rogers< no role > ."

"5th. Augt. 1795.

Ordered that Mr Rogers be directed to cause the Works
mentioned in the above Report to be forthwith done.

It having been stated to the Court that the Bridge on the High
Road leading from Hounslow to the Parish of Hanworth in this County
is in a ruinous and dangerous state Ordered that Mr Rogers do
view the said Bridge and report his Opinion thereon to the Court at the
next Sessions.

Ordered that Mr Rogers do place the two Looms directed to be
procured for the use of the Prisoners in the New House of Correction in the
Engine Rooms over the Well.

Mr. Rogers the County Surveyor having laid before the
Court a Plan and Elevation of a Bridge to be built at Forty Hill in the
Parish of Enfield in this County. Resolved that the said Plan of the
said Bridge be approved of and it is Ordered that Mr Rogers do take
the proper steps for carrying the same into effect as early in the Spring as
possible.

Ordered that Mr Rogers do prepare a Particular of the
Materials to be used and Works necessary to be done in building the
said Bridge and that the Clerk of the Peace do advertize for Proposals for
executing the same by Contract as soon as he shall receive the particular
from Mr Rogers.
