Thomas Fellows< no role > Esqr . proposed Mr Walford as a proper person
to be appointed. and

Rupert Clarke< no role > Esqr . proposed Mr George Burrows< no role > as a proper
Person to be appointed.

and the Ballot being closed upon inspection it appeared that
Twenty eight Justices had voted for Mr Webb, Seventeen for Mr Good
Six for Mr Burrows, and one for Mr Walford, Whereupon Mr Webb was
declared to be duly Elected and was appointed accordingly.

By Adjournment same day.

The Vacancy occasioned by the Death of Mr. Henry Adams< no role > This name instance is in set 1591. as
Contractor for conveying Vagrants in through and out of this County
being declared;

A Petition from Lydia Adams< no role > Sister to the said Henry
Adams
< no role > This name instance is in set 1591. was read praying to be appointed Pass Master.

Whereupon It was Moved and Seconded that it is not compatible
with the Duties of a Pass Master of Vagrants for this County that the
same should be executed by a Female which was carried in the
Affirmative.

Upon which it was Moved and Seconded, that Henry Bothwell< no role >
be appointed Contractor for conveying Vagrants in through and out of this
County upon the same terms on which Mr Adams held the said Contract
and the same was carried unanimously in the Affirmative.

By Adjournment same day.

The Reverend Dr Glasse the Chairman of the House of Correction
Committee having laid before the Court the following Paper Vizt.
