Resolved Unanimously, That this Court do agree with the
Committee in the measures recommended by the said Report and do order
that the same be Ratified and Confirmed.
Ordered that the Clerk of the Peace
do write a Letter to James
Clitherow Esqr
. one of the Members of the Grand Junction Canal
Company
and one of the Trustees of the Turnpike Trust to inform him of the Resolutions
of the Court in respect to Brentford Bridge
.
And as it appears from the above Report that some Alterations must
necessarily be made to the Bridge
by the Grand Junction Canal
Company for
their own accommodation if they are permitted to pass through the said Bridge
Resolved that directions be given to the County Surveyor to attend to such
Alterations and to take care that they are done in a workmanlike and
substantial manner as from a neglect of so doing considerable expence may
hereafter fall upon the County who may in future be called upon to support
the Bridge
And that if it shall appear to him that any Nusance or
Inconvenience to the Publick may be occasioned to the Publick by the
Alteration of the Bridge
intended by the Grand Junction Canal
Company he
immediately give notice thereof in Writing to the Clerk of the peace
who is to lay
the same before the Magistrates for their consideration

The Committee appointed to examine the Treasurers Accounts
relative to the Sums of Money paid by him for the apprehending of Vagrants
having made a Report on this subject as far as they were enabled by the
Papers laid before them and the Court being of opinion that the Inquiry should
be further proceeded in; Resolved that the said Report be referred back
to the said Committee to whom the same was before referred and William

meet at the Session House on Wednesday the 17th. day of December Instant
at 10 o Clock and that the said Committee do inquire whether the Restrictions
specified in the Statute of the 32d. year of His present Majestys Reign have
