That Your Petitioner in consequence of the said Appointment
has paid to the late Mr Harwoods Executor the Sum of £49.1.0
That Your Petitioner begs leave to inform your Worships
that every Article contained in the said Inventory is used soleby
for the Accommodation of the Prisoners and benefit of the County
and as the Emoluments arising from the same are accounted for
and paid by your Petitioner to your Worships, Your Petitioner
therefore prays that your Worships will allow him the said Sum of
£49.1.0 to reimburse him the Money so by him paid as aforesaid
And Your Petitioner as in Duty bound will ever pray

Humbly Sheweth
That being informed by George Williamson the Jobbing
Smith to the County that he should no longer continue the
business of a Smith< no role >
as he had entered into another line of
business; Your Petitioner begs leave to offer himself as a proper
Person to be appointed Jobbing Smith to the County of Middlesex
in
his room
That Your Petitioners Premises are situate within
Thirty yards of New Prison
and by far nearer than any other
where he carries on a considerable Manufactory as a Working Smith
That your Petitioner has been an Inhabitant of the
Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell
near Twelve years and has
served most of the Parish Offices.
