Resolved that thefoot pavement the Walls and cop [..]
the Posts and Rails of Brentford Bridge and the flooring of the foot Bridge of and
belonging to the said Bridge be forthwith repaired

Resolved that Sir Charles Gould< no role > Knight James Clitherow< no role >
John Drinkwater< no role > Paul Vaillant< no role > Stephen Cole< no role > Thomas Bishop< no role > an [..]
Henry Lambe< no role > Esquires Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex or any three of them be and they are hereby appointed
a Committee and they are hereby fully authorized and impowered
"to consider and determine what repairs are necessary to be done to
Brentford Bridge to advertise for proposals for performing such repair
to make a Contract or Contracts with one or more person or persons
for the execution thereof and also for keeping the said Bridge in rep [..]
for any term not exceeding seven years at an annual Sum and
to take every other step that may be necessary for the repair of the
said Bridge". The said Committee to meet for the first time now
here and then at the Inn known by the sign of the three Pidge
at Brentford on Tuesday the 5th day of October next at eleven o'Clock
in the forenoon, and afterwards to meet at and adjourn to such time
and times and place and places as to them shall seem meet

By adjournment 20th September 1779

It having been Represented to the Court, that Mr James
Elmore
< no role > the Keeper of New Prison at Clerkenwell , is in an ill
and a very dangerous state of Health, and not likely to live: Resolved
and Ordered that it be and It is hereby referred to the Committee
appointed to carry into immediate and effectual execution the Repair
of New Prison and Clerkenwell Bridewell and they are hereby
