together with 500 Copies of the Resolutions of this Meeting b [..]
forthwith printed for the Use of his Majestys Justices of the
peace for this County and Copies of cash sent to those Magistrates
who Act in the different divisions of the County

The following [..] being a further report from the Committee
appointed to View and Examine into the State and Condition of
Chertsey Bridge being laid before this Court and the same being
read as follows Vizt.

Middlesex

To his Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of Middlesex
in their General Quarter Session of the peace holden at Hicks Hall
in Saint John Street in the said County (by adjournment
Thursday the 8th. day of July 1779 assembled

The further additional Report of the
Committee appointed to view and Examined
into the State and Condition of Chertsey
Bridge and to Report what Shall appear
to them upon such View and examination
to be necessary for the immediate and
effectual repair and Security of the same

The said Committee Report

That having taken into Consideration the
additional Order of reference to them given Vizt. To form a particular
"description and an Estimate of the Expence of the Work which shall
"appear to be necessary for the immediate Security and Repair of
"the said Bridge and to Consider what may be best done for the [..]
"Ease of the County in respect to the said Bridge as also to inquire to
"whom the Ayle mentioned in their report belongs whether the same
"be [..] purchaseable or not and what may be the Expence of removing the said
"Ayle" It is the Opinion of the Committee that the follg.
Repairs are necessary for the immediate Security and Repair of the
Bridge namely. To add to the abutment so much as Shall be
