of the peace for the County of Surry appointed a Committee for the
like purposes be and they are hereby appointed a Committee, and
are hereby fully authorized and impowered, to procure a proper pla [..]
for such new Bridge, to form and determine on an estimate of the
expence of erecting the same, to advertize for proposals for performing
the work, to make Contracts with the several Workmen for the execution
thereof and to take every other measure that may be necessary for the
erection of such new Bridge as also for the support and security of
the present Bridge until such new erection. The said Committee
to meet for the first time at the Swan Inn at Chertsey on Thursday
the 4th day of November next at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, and
afterwards to Meet at and adjourn to such time and times and place
and places as to them shall seem meet
