appointed to carry into immediate and
effectual Execution the Repair of New
Prison
and Clerkenwell
Bridewell
The said Committee Report
That having taken into Consideration the
Order of reference to them given Vizt. "To treat with the Commissioner
"for Repairing the Highways from Counters Bridge in the County
"of Middlesex
through Brentford
and Hounslow to the Powder
"Mills in the Road to Staines and to Cranford Bridge
in the
"said County and for Repairing Turning or Altering the
"Highway leading from the said Road through Sion Lane and
"Isleworth
to a Gate on the South Side of Teddington
field and
"also the Highway leading out of the said Great Road near
"Smallberry Green
Turnpike to the George in the Town of
"Isleworth
aforesaid and for lighting and Watering part of the
"said Highways for Repairing maintaining and amending
"the pavement of Brentford Bridge
" It appeared to them that
there is at present Subsisting an Agreement bearing date the 7th.
