declared to be carried in the affirmative and resolved according

A Motion was made that this Court do now
proceed to the Election of a High Constable for Holborn Division an [..]
the same was agreed to

The Clerk of the peace having informed the County
that he had received some petitions from persons praying to be appoin [..]
High Constable for Holborn Division

Ordered that the Petitions of the several Candidates
be now read

Ordered that the Candidates be respectively called
in during the time their Petition is read in order to answer such
Questions as may be put to them thereon

Read a Petition from Arthur Gliddon< no role > praying
to be appointed to the Office of High Constable of Holborn Division

Read a Petition from John Wild< no role > to the like Effect
Read a Petition from Robert Fitz< no role > to the like Effect

And the said Candidates being separately Examined touching their
knowledge of the Duties of the Office and other matters relative thereto

The Court proceeded to the Election of one of the said
persons to be High Constable for the said Division

Whereupon the Votes of the Justices present
being taken as follows Vizt.
