December 1777

Mr. Durden then Ordered the Box to be taken home-Also Ordered the
Constable to leave the warrant till Saturday the 15-thus all matters were
Settled notwithstanding Mary Young< no role > had the petticoat upon her

Mr Gough the Constable employed in Archers Affair being Examin [..]
at the same time with Archer Says & that having a Warrant to Serve [..]
Mary Young< no role > who he was told was to be at Mr. Durdens-he went to th [..]
Alehouse opposite Mr. Durdens with intent to Serve it when she came f [..]
thence and to bring her before Mr. Bindloss at the request of the prosecu [..]
but the prosecutor came hightened to him and told him he was threate [..]
to be sent to Bridewell if he did not bring the warrant to be heard before
Mr. Durden Upon which he went and Served it and left it by Order
Mr. Durden And on Monday the 17 instr he went for it and received
it Backed Discharged for want of sufficient Evidence by I Durden E [..]

this day before me John Gretton< no role > Esqr . one of his Majestys Justices of the pe [..]
for the County of Middlesex and Voluntarily made oath that on or above
the first day of August 1777 his Wife procured [..] warrant against
Richardson and Willim Badman from Edward Bindloss< no role > Esq. that
said Richardson and Badman were (contrary to this Deponent's and h [..]
Wifes desire) carried before Justice Durden who complained that they
not come to him but go to a Man who knew nothing about the matt [..]
and that they might give his Compliments to Mr Bindloss and [..]
so if they pleased for if the went to Fool's they could not expect good
Usage as they could not do them Justice or words to that Effects
