It is Ordered that said Certificates he
and they are hereby referred to the Prison Committee in Order that
the said Committee may enquire and Consider whether the said
Benjamin Deacon< no role > hath any right to the said fee of Sum of Six
Shillings and Two pence for the discharge of every such prisoners
in manner as in the said Certificates mentioned and whether
this County is Obliged to pay unto him the Sum of Six Shillings
and Two pence for every prisoner so dischargedSentenced as aforesaid And
that they do report their Opinion and proceeding on the County day
of the next Session of the peace to be holden for this County And
it is ordered that they do meet on Monday the fourteenth day of July
Inst. at the Guildhall in King Street Westminster at the hour of
Eleven in the forenoon

the Court Vizt.

To the Worshipful Sir John Hawkins< no role > Knight and the
rest of the Justices in their General Quarter Session assembled

The Humble Petition of James Elmore< no role >
Keeper of New Prison at Clerkenwell

Humbly Sheweth

That Your worships Petitioner hath pursuant to
the order and direction of the respective Courts of General & Quarter
Sessions of the peace held for the County of Middlesex since the passing
of the late Act of Parliament respecting Convicts conveyed and
delivered all Such who have received Sentence to be kept to hard
labour on the River Thames to the Overseers appointed to receive
the Same on Board the hulk lying off Woolwick

That Your Petitioner has been Seven different times
with Such Convicts and the Expences of Water Coach Hire Etc.
