which may happen to the same this neglect (like too many other)
on Account of its not being the Business of any one person more
another to attend to the repairing the road Complained or Mr [..]
by name who resides at Chertsey was many Years since appoint
to take care of the road on the Surry side of the Bridge & to lay [..]
on the same when wanted which has been punctually perfor [..]
by him I have no one to recommend for this purpose but app [..]
You'll think it requisite that something should be done & Ja [..]
not but you will take such proper measures as to Carry this w [..]
into Execution which will be of public benefit

Moved that it be referred to Mr. Durden to examined
the State of Chertsey Bridge and report his opinion thereof on the [..]
Day of the next Session of the Peace to be holden for this County [..]
that he do order any thing to be done in the mean time for the
safety of the Bridge

Ordered that Mr. Rogers the Survey or do immediately
to the Commissioners for paving the Streets Etc of the parish of Par [..]
Sepulchre for their Consent that the Justices may take so much
the public Highway adjoining to the present Session house as [..]
be necessary for the Enlargement of the scite thereof the same
