His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for this County in this present
Session of the Peace assembled do unanimously reelect Sir John Haw< no role > [..]
Knight Chairman of the General and General Quarter Sessions of the
Peace for this County for and during the half year now next ensuing

By adjournment same day

Sir John Hawkins< no role > the Chairman having laid before the Court
the Report of Robert Taylor< no role > and Kenton Couse< no role > two emminent
Surveyors of the ruinous and unsafe State of the present Session H [..]
called Hicks Hall and also a presentment of the Grand Jury of
the Said County in respect to the hazardous situation of the said
Building

It was Resolved unanimously

That It is not safe for his Majestys Justices of the Peace for [..]
County of Middlesex to hold their Sessions of the Peace for the
said County in Hicks Hall aforesaid and that after the Terminat [..]
of the present Session the Sessions of the Peace for this County be ha [..]
at the Guildhall Westminster until further order and that the
Honourable the Judges now sitting at the Old Bailey be immediate
informed of the above resolution of this Court

And It was also ordered That his Grace the Duke of Northum [..]
Custos Rotulorum of this County be made acquainted with the al [..]
resolution and that at the same time It be requested of his Grace
to permit his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex to hold their Sessions at the Guildhall in King
Street Westminster and that, the Chairman, attended by the
Clerk of the Peace be desired to wait [..] on his Grace on the
Occasion.
