holden for this County on Thursday the 8th. day of December 1774 Vizt. That
the Session house for this County be rebuilt on the scite on which the present one
stands which then passed in the negative be now rescinded and the same was
agreed to unanimously
Moved that the scite of the present Session house to gether with as
much ground as can be obtained from the Commissioners for paving the Street
Etc of the parish of Saint Sepulchre
be the place on which the Session house
for this County shall be rebuilt
carried unanimously
Moved that application be made to Parliament in order to obtain
an Act to empower the Justices to rebuild the Session house for this County
and to raise a sufficient Sum of Money for that purpose carried unanimously
Moved that a Select Committee be appointed to prepare a proper
Bill for the above purpose

number to proceed on business

Sir
Permit me to acquaint you that repeated Complaints have been
made of the road on & at the foot of Chertsey Bridge
on the Middx side which
for want of Gravel being laid at proper seasons of the Year is rendred
much out of repair & the Timbers belonging to the Bridge
must suffer if
some Gravel be not laid as soon as may be to prevent any Injury
