Now these present Articles Do Witness And the
said John Wilkins< no role > for himself his Executors and Administrators doth Covenant
promise and agree to and with the said Justices and the Survivors and Survivor
of them and the Executors and Administrators of such Survivor in consideration
of the Yearly Sum or Sums of Monie which shall arise by the Toll of the said
Haymarket over and above the said Sums an Sum of four Shillings in the
Pound allowed for Collecting the Toll and other incident Charges should be
paid to him the said John Wilkins< no role > his Executors or Administrators by order
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County which order is now
delivered to the said John Wilkins< no role > for the Term of twenty one Years to be
computed from the twenty fifth day of March last past at the times therein
mention'd (vizt) the Feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist St Michael
the Archangell the Nativity of our Lord Christ and the anunciation of the
Blessed Virgin Mary by even and equal portions out of the Monie arrising by
the said Toll for Hay and Straw brought or to be brought into and standing to
be sold in the said Haymarket That he the said John Wilkins< no role > his Executors
or Administrators shall and will forthwith at his and their own proper Cost
and Charges well and substantially repair amend maintain and pave all the
said Haymarket that is to be repaired by the said Act above Omitted and
appointed for paving thereof according to the directions and descriptions
above limitted with all and all manner of needfull and necessary
reparations and Amendments as often as necessity or Occasion shall be
with good Sound Pebble Stones from the twenty fifth day of March one
thousand seven hundred and fifty six last past for the term of twenty one
Years from thence next ensuing and fully to be compleat and ended and
[..] the same in good and substantial repair at the End of the said Term
and that in case the said Toll (after deducting the said four Shillings in
the Pound for collecting and other incident Charges shall amount to more
than one hundred Pounds P Annum then he the said John Wilkins< no role > his
Executors and Administrators shall account and pay what Monie he shall
receive over and above the said one hundred Pounds P Annum at the End
of the said Term of twenty one Years to the order of the said Justices
And that in case the said John Wilkins< no role > his Executors or Administrators
