9th December 1773

last Report of the Committee desiring the Committee to execute the
same, and binding the Collector to pay the annual sum agreed for to
Mist in case of proper performance of the covenants; & appointing a
Standing Committee.

An Order of the same Date appointing Mr Samuel Weaver< no role >
Baker Collector of the Haymarket Toll during his good behaviour
who was to pay the Yearly Sums out of the Collections mentioned in the
Contract to account for the Toll Money Etc. according to the direction of
the Act & to be allowed 4s in the Pound to be collected rendring an Account
upon Oath every Easter Session.

An Order of the 14th May 1730 made on the Petition of Wm Brown< no role >
Paviour he having under the direction of the Treasurers paved the
Haymarket for 4 Years last past, & the Toll not being sufficient for the
Expence thereby incurred, the remainder due to him £78..8s..3d & prays the
payment of the same whereby it was referred to the Committee to consider
of the means of defraying, the said debt & to enable him to make a final
Agreement with Mr John Mist< no role > according to his proposal in regard to
the same for the payment thereof

An Order of the 2nd July 1730 made on Mr John Mist< no role > relinquish
ing the Sum of £74 payable to him for the first Year of the Term of his
Contract for the annual allowance of £6; during the Term of 21
Years to commence from Lady day 1731 whereby the aforesaid Debt of
£78..8s..3d due to Wm Brown< no role > was to be discharged by Installmts out of the
said relinquished Sum of £74 & which said £74 the said Wm Brown< no role >
accepted of in discharge of his said Debt.
