Which said Report being read this Court doth agree to the said Report
and doth ratify and confirm the same and the said Report is hereby in all
things ratifyed and confirmed accordingly
An Abstract of all the Orders of Sessions concerning
the Haymarket
which appear in the Entry Books of the Orders of Sessions
from 1716 to 1770
Read an Order of the 5th December 1717 made on Complaint of
several Persons of the badness of the Pavement before the Play House in the
Haymarket
and an application from Sir John Vanburgh< no role >
to the Justices to
repair the same; whereby John Milner< no role >

one of His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for this County was desired to discourse Sir John Vanburgh< no role >
touching the
Repair of the said Pavement to inform him how the same had hitherto been
repaired (vizt) by the Proprietors of the said Play house and how for the Justices were
oblig'd to repair the Haymarket
under the Act and that in their Judgment the
said Play house was a Nusance and ought not to be continued And after such
discourse to report his opinion therein to the rest of the Justices

Treasurers of the Toll Money collected
in the Haymarket
that a Sum of ten Pounds P Annum was charged for Books
and paper and Mr Philip Stothard< no role >

weekly the accompts of the Collectors and posted the same in a book: and that the
same was a new Article not charged before by any former Treasurer
, whereby the
same was allowed for one year to come and confirmed for the Time past
