9th December 1773

An Order of the 13th January 1725 made on its appearing by the
Treasurers Accounts that ten Pounds P Annum was allowed to Mr Philip
Stothard as these Clerk and for paper and books; whereby it was referred to
a Committee to inspect the said Accounts and to report their opinion touching
said Allowance

An Order of the 4th March 1725 whereby it was referred to a Committee
to Inspect the Accounts of John Offley< no role > Esqr deceased late Treasurer of the
Monies arrising by the Toll of the Haymarket and requiring Mr Philip
Stothard not to dispose of the Sum of £21..8s..11d admitted by him to remain
in his Hands upon the balance of his last account until after the Committee
should have made their Report

An Order of the 21st April 1726 made on the Report of the Committee
appointed on the 13th of Jany then last to examine and inspect the Accounts
of Lord Wm Powlett and John Ellis< no role > Esqr the Treasurers of the Haymarket
in which Report it is said, that the Accounts referred to the Consideration of
the Committee are right cast up in the receipts and payments and the several
balances duly carried forward from the prior Account to the succeeding Account
and upon examination of the several Paviours Bills and other Vouchers it
was found that the same were rightly charged and the balance of the whole
which remained in the Hands of Mr Philip Stothard< no role > was twenty two Pounds
eight Shillings and Eleven pence at the 24th June 1725 And that the Comittee
was not able to report upon the Annual Allowance of ten Pounds on Account
of the absence of Lord Wm Powlet whereby the said Report was confirm'd
and the Consideration of the Allowance of ten Pounds adjourned to the
next County day.

An Order of the same date with the last made on the Report of
the Committee appointed on the 4th of March last to inspect the Accounts
of John Offley< no role > Esqr deceased late Treasurer to the Haymarket in which
Report it is said that in respect of the Affairs recommended to the Committee
it was found by an Account stated 22nd April 1721 that there was then due
