committed to his Custody until they shall be discharged by due Course of Law And also if the
said James Elmore< no role > do and shall Yearly during the time he shall be and continue Keeper
of the said prison pay the Yearly Sum of Ten pounds unto the Matron of the House of
Correction at Clerkenwell in the said County for the time being until further order of the
Court of General or Quarter Session of the peace for the said County to the contrary for and
towards her Support and Maintenance by Quarterly Payments (to wit) at Michaelmas
Christmas Lady day and Midsummer by equal portions the first payment thereof to be,
made at Michaelmas next And also if the said James Elmore< no role > do and shall from time to
time during his being Keeper of the said prison at his said Charge do or cause to be
done the small repairs necessary to be done to the said Prison and the Dwelling house thereto
belonging (to wit) scowering emptying Cleansing and Glazeing And if he the said James Elmore< no role >
his Executors or Administrators do and shall from time to time well and truly pay or cause
to be paid unto the Sheriff of the said County for the time being or his agent for the use of his
now Majesty King George the third his Heirs and Successors all such Sum and Sums of Money
as have been or shall be imposed and set for any fine or fines by any of the Justices of the
peace for the said County assembled at any of their General of Quarter Session of the peace
held within the said County on any prisoner or prisoners committed or to be committed to the
Custody of the said James Elmore< no role > as Keeper of the said prison for any offence of offences by
them Committed and which shall or without his or their wilful default may at any time
or times be received by him or his Servant or Servants during such Time as the said James
Elmore shall continue Keeper of the said Prison and do and shall likewise from time to
time well and truly account with and pay unto the Clerk of the peace of the said County
for the time being or his Deputy all such Fees as the said James Elmore< no role > or his respective
Servant or Servants shall or without his or their wilful default may during the time he
shall continue Keeper of the said Prison receive for the use of such Clerk of the peace of any
Prisoner or Prisoners committed or to be committed to the said Prison And that whenever
the said James Elmore< no role > shall be displaced removed or discharged from the said Office or
Employment of the Keeper of the said Prison by the Justices of the peace of the said County or
the Major part of them That then if he the said James Elmore< no role > shall forthwith peaceably
deliver up and quit the Possession of the said Prison and the dwelling house and Buildings
thereto belonging and the said Garden and Orchard and other the Appurtenances together
with the Prisoners committed to his Custody as Keeper of the said prison and then remaining
undischarged to such other person or personsas shallas shall be by the Justices of the peace
of the said County or the Major part of them Elected Nominated and appointed to be keeper
of the said Prison in the stead and place of the said James Elmore< no role > Then this obligation,
to be void but if default shall be made by the said James Elmore< no role > his Executors or
Administrators or any of them in any of the premises aforesaid Then the said Obligation
is to be and remain in full force and Virtue
