Know All Men by these presents that James
Elmore of the Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell in the County
of Middlesex Gentleman Charles Martin< no role > of Aylesbury
Street in the same parish and County Victualler and John
Elkins
< no role > of South Street Grosvenor Square in the County aforesaid
Master Bricklayer are held and firmly bound unto Sir
John Hawkins< no role > Knight Sir Charles Whitworth< no role > Knight
Robert Pell< no role > and John Brettell< no role > Esquires Justices of our Lord
the King assigned to Keep the Peace in the County of Middlesex
in manner following (that is to say) the said James Elmore< no role >
in Two Hundred Pounds of lawful Money of Great
Britain and the said Charles Martin< no role > and John Elkins< no role >
in One Hundred pounds a piece to be paid to the said Sir
John Hawkins< no role > Sir Charles Whitworth< no role > Robert Pell< no role > and
John Brettell< no role > or to their certain Attorney Executors or
Administrators To the payment of which said Sum of
Two hundred Pounds well and truly to be made the said
James Elmore< no role > doth bind himself his Heirs Executors and
Administrators firmly by these presents Sealed with
his Seal and to the payment of the said Sum of One
hundred pounds a piece each of them the said Charles
Martin and John Elkins< no role > as to his own part and behalf
only doth bind himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators
firmly by these presents Sealed also with the respective
Seals of them the Said Charles Martin< no role > and John Elkins< no role >
Dated theday ofin the fourteenth
Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third
King of Great Britain Etc and in the Year of our Lord One
thousand Seven hundred and Seventy four
