deliver up and Quit the possession of the said dwelling house and
buildings there to belonging and the said Garden Orchard and other the
Appurtenances together with the Prisoners committed to his
Custody as Keeper of the said Prison and then remaining
undischarged to such other person or persons as shall be by the
Justices of the peace of the said County or the Major part of them
Elected Chosen Nominated and Appointed to be Keeper of the said
Prison in the stead and place of him the said James Elmore< no role > And
Also that he the said James Elmore< no role > do forthwith Enter into a
Bond or Obligation himself in the Sum of Two Hundred Pounds
and two Sure his each in One hundred pounds unto Sir John
Hawkins
< no role > Knt. Sir Charles Whitworth< no role > Knt. Robert Pell< no role > and
John Prettell< no role > Esquries Justices of the peace of the said County with
such condition as is above written In Testimony where of
we the said Justices of the peace have hereunto set our hands
and Scales theday ofin the fourteenth Year
of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third King of
Great Britain Etc And in the Year of our Lord One Thousand
Seven hundred and Seventy four.
