April

at the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the
King begun and holden at Westminster in and for the
County of Middlesex on Monday in the Week next after the
Close of Easter (to wit) the third Day of April in the 9th. Year
of the Reign of Our sovereign Lord George the 3d. King of Great
Britain Etc. and from thence continued by several adjournments.
until Thursday the 6th. day of the same Month of april to
be holden at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the said County
And on the same Thursday the 6th. day of April the same
Session being holden by the Adjournment aforesaid at Hicks
Hall a aforesaid in the said County Before John Hawkins< no role > The

the King Assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid
and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and
other Misdemeanors Committed in the Same County.

Order for Represent-
ation against John
Sherratt Esquire .}

It appearing to the Court that one John Sherratt< no role > Esquire is named
in the present Commission of the peace for this County who, as it is
Certified by the sheriff is protected from arrests as one of the
Servants of his Excellency Count Haslang the Bavarian
Minister and the said John Sherratt< no role > having been twice Bankrupt
as appearsby the Book in the Bankrupt office This Court doth
resolve that it is unanimously the Sense and opinion of the
Magistrates here assembled that the said John Sherratt< no role > is an
unfit Person to hold or Execute the said office of Justice of the Peace
And that a proper Representation of the said Facts be drawn up
and presented to the Right Honble the Lord High Chancellor to the
and that the said John Sherratt< no role > be Superseded and accordingly
this Court doth request John Hawkins< no role > Esquire Chairman of the
Sessions to draw up such Representation and lay the same before
the Lord Chancellor in such manner as he shall judge fitting with
all convenient speed and that the same be signed by or in the name
of the Clerk of the peace
