And Whereas application hath been made to the Sessions
by William Pentlow< no role > Keeper of New Prison and Frances Palmer< no role >
Widow , administrative of John Stoddart< no role > late Governor or
Keeper of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell for their
respective proportions of the allowance due for the keeping and
maintaining the Prisoners in the said House and other matters
It is thereupon referred to the aforesaid Committee to consider of
the respective Claims of the Petitioners And to report their Opinion
on the County day of the said next Session And it is ordered
that all Persons concerned do attend the said Committee on Notice
from the Cryer of this courtBy the Court

Order of Reference
to consider if expedient
to Guild next Sessions
House

A Motion being now made and seconded that it is be taken into
consideration by his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for this County
here assembled, whether it will be expedient to build a more
convenient Session House or Shire Hall for this County and if so,
what place will be most Convenient for its actuation, what Money it
will require to build and finish the same and the means of raising it
and how and by what means this present Hall or Sessions House
may be disposed of It is thereupon resolved and accordingly
Ordered that the Premisses be and the same are hereby referred to
the Consideration of a Committee of his Majesty's said Justices here
present and the rest of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for this
County (so that 5 or more of these here present shall be of the number
present at the said Committee) And the said Justices are desired to
meet at this place on Friday the 10th. day of March next by eleven
of the Clock in the forenoon (with power to adjourn) to take the
whole matter hereby referred into consideration And on the County
day of the next Session to report their Opinion there of to the Court
And it is Ordered that Mr. John White< no role > the Cryer of the Sessions
and House keeper of Hicks Hall who is hereby appointed to attend
the said Committee of Justices as a Messenger Dogive timely Notice
of the said intended Meeting and that Mr. James Jefferson< no role > the
Treasurer and Deputy Clerk of the Peace be and he is hereby appointed
Clerk to the said Committee and do attend the Meetings of the said Justices
and produce such Books and Writings and perform all such Business
a shall be from time to time requiredBy the Court
