the said County by Adjournment on Thursday the fourth day
of this instant September For the considerations herein after
mentioned (and wherewith he the said Francis Buskin< no role > doth
hereby declare himself to be fully satisfied and contented) To
Erect Build make compleat and finish the said new foot
Path and to do and perform the said Repairs and all
Business relating thereunto at the rates or prices herein after
mentioned under the direction of Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Esquire
or such other Surveyor as the said Justices shall for that
purpose appoint And it was thereupon Ordered that
upon his Entring into Contract with four or five of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace aforesaid in that behalf
appointed and giving Bond for the Performance of such
Contract he should be Employed in and to do and Execute the
said Repairs and Works Now these Presents Witness
that the said Francis Buskin< no role > for the Considerations aforesaid
hath covenanted Contracted and agreed and doth hereby
for himself his Executors and Administrators Covenant
Contract and agree to and with the said John Hawkins< no role >
Sir Henry Cheere< no role > George Errington< no role > Bartholomew Hammond< no role >
and Benjamin Cowley< no role > their Executors and Administrators
in manner and form following that is to say that he the
said Francis Buskin< no role > his Executors or Administrators shall
and will find and provide carry setup drive fix employ
and use all such Oak Piles as shall be wanting in the
Erecting Building making and compleatly finishing the said
newfoot path or Bridge and Repairs not to be less than four
in number from thirty three feet to thirty six feet in length
and from fourteen Inches to seventeen Inches square in the
middle and allowing one Square equal to two wains at and
for the rate or price of four Shillings by the Foot cube
including Iron Shoes and all labour And also shall
and will find provide carry lay affix Employ and use all
such Beams to be layd across the River there and fixed on the
Tops of the Piles for the Joists to be caulked down upon
and of the best and straitest grained Oak that can be got
