Ord for Harrow

Whereas by an Ordr. of Gent. Sess of the peace for this County made on
Thursday the 25th. of Febry 1747. setting forth that John Ditcherhad for
divers Years then last been Attendant on His Majesty's Justices of the peace
of this County Assembled in Sessions and had been very useful to them upon
divers occasions & had been ready to Observe & obey the Directions by them
given in matters and messuages relating to the Comission & that his Attend
was still necessary & might be use full And that the sd. Court being Informd
that he was very desirous to Continue his Attendance on them as formerly
having some small Allowance made him for such Labour & Attendance
The sd. John Ditcher< no role > was Allowed the Yearly Sum or Salary of £4 in manner
there in mentiond for his future attendance upon His Majesty's Justices
of the Peace of this County in their Sessions and such like Service he
duty performing the same as formerly which Yearly Allowance was
Continued to the said John Ditcher until Midsumr. last who dying soon
afterwds. John Harrow< no role > (his Assistant lately be fore his Death) hath
done & continued to do that Service There fore this Court to the Intent that
the sd. John Harrow< no role > may be some recon pence in relation to the Premes
Doth Order that the said John Harrow< no role > shall be allowed and by the like
Yearly Simor Salary of £4. for such his Service & attendance he duly
performing such Service & attendance as the sd. Jo her Ditcher was
accustomed to perform And that such Yearly Sum or Salary be said to him by
the Treasurer of this County until further Order of the Court of Sessions of the
Peace for this County shall be made to the Contrary by Quarterly paymts. to at
Michas Christmas Lady & midsummer the first paymt to be Amounted due
at Michas last Ord the receipts of the said John Harrow< no role > together with this Order
shall be a sufficient discharge to the sd. Treasurer for such Payment
