Upon Reading the Report of a Comee of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for this
County to whom the Application of William Pentlow< no role > Gent . Keeper of New Prison &
the Petition of James Elmore< no role > late Servt . to Wm Jones< no role > late Keeper of the House
of Correction at Clerkenwell deced were referred It is Ordered that Mr John
Higgs Treasurer of this County do pay to the said Wm Pentlow< no role > 50s. part of
the Sum of £12:10:0. Ordered to be paid him in February Sessions last an
now remaining in the said Treasurers hands to wait the direction of this
Court And that the said William Penlow< no role > 's Receipt together with this Order
shall be a sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer for such Payment And
it is further Ordered that the said William Pentlow< no role > do out of the said 50s
Satisfy and pay to the said James Elmore< no role > 41s.&3d. Pursuant to the
Prayer of his Petition

To Pay J. S. Adams

It is Ordered that Mr John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County Do pay
to Mr. James Sturges Adams two pounds two Shillings and three Pence
in full of his Account for Subsistance of Vagrants to this Day
And that the receipt of the said James Sturges Adams together
with this Order shall be a sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer
for such Payment.

To Pay Wm. Sheldon< no role >
the Cryer's Assistant

It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County Do Pay to Mr.
William Sheldon< no role > Assistant Cryer of the Court Five Pounds one Shilling
allowed him for posting up the Public Orders of Sessions And that the
receipt of the said William Sheldon< no role > together with this Order shall be
sufficient Discharge to the said Trear for such Payment.

To Pay John Turner< no role >
Keeper of Clerkenwell
Bridwell 5s. for
Vagrants & 20s.8d. before}

It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Trear of this County do Pay to
John Turner< no role > keeper of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell Five
Shilling for subsistance of Vagrants in the said House of
Correction till this Day together with twenty Shillings and eight
Pence before Ordered And that the receipt of the Said John [..]
Turner together with this Order shall be a sufficient Discharge the said
Treasures for such Payment.
