the greater part Justices also of Oyer and Terminer for this
County here present or any three or more of them as shall please to
be there to meet as a Committee at Hicks Hall on Thursday the Fifth
of August next at Ten o' Clock in the morning to revise the said
printed Book of publick Orders and the several Books from
which the same were Collected and others in the office of
the Clerk of the peace and make Extracts of what they shall think
necessary for making the said recited Book more usefull & Compleat
and such additions and alterations as they shall think necessary to
that purpose And to make their Report thereon to the next Sessions
on the County day of the same Session And Mr. James Jefferson< no role > the
Deputy Clerk of the peace is hereby directed to attend the sd. Committee
as their Clerk with the said Books as the said Committee shall
require and the Cryer of this Court is to give them notice of the
time of meeting And the said Committee are hereby in powered
to adjorn and meet at such times as they shall think fit It is
Also Referred to the said Committee to take into consideration
the Order of Gaol Delivery made in April Session last for not
receiving Bills of Indictment sent from these courts after Two
O' Clock on the Second day of that Session.

By Adjournment Thursday the 16th. of Septr. 1762 .

Upon reading the Report of the Committee of His Majesty's Justices of the peace
who were appointed to revise the public Order of Session It is Ordered that
the written Collection layd before this Court be printed and layd before
His Majesty's Justices of the peace for this County for their perusal
And the further proceeding thereon is to be deferr'd till the County Day
of December Session and it is ordered that Mr. James Jefferson< no role > the [..]
Clerk of the peace of this County do cause a sufficient Number of
Proof Copies to be printed and layd before the Justices.
