Mr. Thomas Hurford< no role > the present High Constable of
Finsbury Division was return'd by the petty Sessions
as a proper, person to serve 3 years longer but the
Court resolving it is contrary to the standing order
Another referrence was made to the Justices to return
Some other person to the next Session

By Adjournment on Thursday the 14th. of Janry.1762.

Mr. Burnham for
plaisterers Work
at Hicks Hall }

It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of
this County do pay to Mr. Robert Burnham< no role > the Sum
of Ten pounds Twelve Shillings & Three pence in
full of His Bill for Plaisterers Work lately for form'd
at Hicks Hall aforesaid And that the Receipt of the
said Mr. Burnham together with this Order shall
be a sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer for
such payment.

It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this county
do pay to Mr. James Sturges Adams £2.18. to allowed by this Court
for his Disbursements in subsistance of Vagrants to this day
and that the Receipt of the said Mr. Adams together with
this Order shall be a sufficient Discharge to the said Trear
for such payment.
